Palmetto Family Council: Huckabee, McMaster Marriage
Amendment Campaign Luncheon.
Columbia, SC - July 14, 2006 -- Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will
headline a celebration of traditional marriage August 3 in Columbia.
He
will speak during a luncheon at the Clarion Townhouse Hotel honoring South
Carolinians who observe golden wedding anniversaries in 2006.
Huckabee led his state in passing a marriage amendment to the Arkansas
Constitution in 2004. A similar amendment will be on South Carolina's
ballot on November 7, 2006.
SC Attorney General Henry McMaster will welcome attendees on behalf of
Palmetto Family Council's SC Marriage Amendment Campaign. Music will
be provided by PFC Marriage Amendment Co-Chair Senator Danny Verdin and his
family.
Seating is limited for the August 3 luncheon, and reservations are required.
