Debate Set For Republican State Superintendent Of Education Candidates

Capital City Republican Women To Host Debate

(Columbia, SC) – The Capital City Republican Women will be having a debate between the Republican candidates for State Superintendent of Education on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.  The Lexington County and Richland County Republican Clubs are also sponsors of the event.

Candidates who have confirmed their participation in the debate are: Karen Floyd, Elizabeth Moffly, Mike Ryan and Kerry Wood. Tim Miller, Chairman of the Lexington County Republican Party, will serve as moderator of the sixty-minute debate. Doors will open at 6pm, and the debate will begin at 6:30pm, and will be held at the Suggs & Kelly Law Building in the Vista Community Room, 500 Taylor Street, Columbia, South Carolina.
